Heat one, Jan '08, the contenders! :
The Stray
3 Screaming Popes
& Born Out Of Nothing.

Our personal favourite?
Born Out Of Nothing of course! They won the audience vote, and made it through to the final because of it!
Second favourite?
3 Screaming Popes. They also made it through to the final because of the judges vote!
and last, but not least...
The Stray! They were pretty good too, of course but sadly didn't get through to the final. But not everyone could, could they?

THE STRAY :
The opening band to that night's festivities, at first we had our options open, and liked them quite a lot! The singer was rather good and so was the band. But they could have moved around more, and not all of the the vocals really suited his voice like the high notes, etc. It would have been nice to have been spoken to by them a bit more, as audience participation wasn't really involved. Bad luck for not getting through, but there's always next time, eh?

3 SCREAMING POPES :
Second band of the night! These guys were great, the vocals were pretty good and the instrumentals were amazing! They also got through to the final, which we reckon they pretty much deserved! Sadly, they didn't really interact with the audience either, but that's the only bad thing we can really say about them! Good luck in the final. :]

BORN OUT OF NOTHING :
My gosh. They were the absolute bomb, we're tellin' ya! & Dan, the lead singer & Joseph the bass guitarist were pretty phitt. ;) They spoke to the audience, moved on stage ( especially Dan at the end, wahay! ) and the vocals & instrumentals were fabulous! We also spoke to them the week after, at the second week of the heats, & they were real nice! Don't think there's a bad word to be said about these guys ... WE LOVE YOU! Good luck in the final, we know who we'll be voting for. (:
