The VJ Workshop
On Wednesday 18th Feb a group of us got together to learn how to VJ. First, using image editing software, we edited short looped sequences from our movies to load onto Arkaos.
We filmed a collection of images to project onto the VJ screen. We filmed each other making shadow dance movements and used quick time animation to sequence movements of objects such as scissors, clocks, ears and eyes.
For VJing we mix images together to form a video montage. There is one channel of video from Arkaos and one channel for a live camera link. For some live events a larger amount of channels can be used for more live links which gives a powerful effect.
Our trip to Bury St Edmunds to VJ at the Bury Live Lounge event on 19 Feb 09.
On Thursday, 19th we traveled to Bury to perform VJing at a Youth Opportunity and Capitol Fund Gig.
