The second heats - amazing!!

Here's the line-up:
Amberlight -- Federal Black 40 -- Spitfire John -- The Breach

Amberlight were a very unique band. Their style of music was heavy but not too heavy. The singing was very clear and you could hear the words and the levels of the instruments were perfect so no one thing drowned out another. Overall, they were worthy competitors!

Federal Black 40. This band was very, very good. The audience responded well to it, and here's some of the things they said: "The best band I've seen in ages!" "Absolutely brilliant!" "They were a bit loud, but it was a good loud." "Mind-boobling!" <-- Wow I love that word!

In Spitfire John, there was definitely something different. There was a nice mix of keyboard and drums. Also, the singing was really good. I think the fact that they had a stupidly undersized set of drums made them unique as well! =D

The Breach were very good, but not the best. On most of their songs, there wasn't much or any singing so it was difficult to tell how good the vocals were. When there was singing, the vocalist seemed a bit...umm...rusty? The second guitarist decided to pull a stunt, and that was pretty cool. They put a bit of tension into it too...awesome!

Looking forward to the finals!!
